A stunning Byron Bay wedding venue nestled in the lush hinterland just 15 minutes from town. They brought 130 of their VIPs from down south, and everything aligned for an epic day in paradise — even with a little rain in the forecast, Friday the 13th turned lucky!

Even for someone used to high-pressure NRL moments, Jarrod had to dig deep to stay grounded when he saw Brittney walking towards him — she looked absolutely incredible and the emotion was next level.

The Proposal

Jarrod had planned to propose somewhere perfect — but a wild storm in Singapore wrecked Plan A. So, like any good pivot, he dropped to one knee in the rain, and asked Britt to marry him. Her response? A mix of surprise, swearing, and litres of happy tears.

These two are the real deal — grounded, fun, emotional, and fully in it for the long haul. I was so honoured to be their Byron Bay wedding celebrant, and to help shape a ceremony that reflected their love story perfectly.
