Since day one as a Marriage Celebrant, I’ve been a proud champion of LGBTQ+ wedding ceremonies and a passionate advocate for love in all its forms. Long before the Australian marriage laws changed in late 2017, I stood in full support of equality — and now, more than 8 years on, it’s been an incredible honour to officiate same-sex marriage ceremonies across Byron Bay, the Tweed Coast, and the Gold Coast.

From signing the paperwork with two brides under the Macadamia trees at The Farm Byron – to witnessing two grooms say “I do” on the Beach in an LGBTQ+ Weddings, these moments have been nothing short of magic. Love has always been love — and now it’s naturally celebrated with full joy, heart, and recognition. Friends, families, and communities coming together to embrace and celebrate same-sex marriages without hesitation — and I feel privileged to be part of that journey.
