Their love story started at Surf Dive ‘n Ski, when Brendan was helping his brother pick out a birthday outfit. Ellie was working there, giving style tips, and Brendan was instantly smitten. He found a few more reasons to return to the store — and fate sealed the deal when they ran into each other again at a gig at Fisho’s. Brendan spotted Ellie walking in, shouted “Surf Shop Girl,” leapt a railing, and they danced the night away.

But just as sparks flew, Ellie headed off on a Euro adventure. Fast forward — back on the Gold Coast, Ellie was on a double date (her date no-showed), Brendan walked in to order takeaway, saw her, panicked… and walked out. Ellie messaged him. He came back. That night, the world aligned — and the rest is history.

Now parents to a beautiful daughter, living in Elanora with their doggo, Ellie & Brendan brought all the feels to their Tweed Coast wedding. With heartfelt vows, happy tears, and a confetti-filled aisle exit, it was pure celebration — all set to a classic tune playing over the speakers.
